One of the attractions that made me move to the Jewellery Quarter was The Lord Clifden.

Situated right on the edge of The Quarter on Great Hampton Street, the Clifden is a great little gem.

A changing array of real ales, decent bottled soft drinks and mouth watering food surrounded by Banksy prints. The music tends to the Indie, with a decent and not too loud Jukebox.

I recommend the Banksy Burger and a pint of HPA

This was my first visit to The Lord Clifden and I can honestly say that it was one of the biggest surprises I've had in a long time.

I wasn't expecting much as we walked along Great Hampton Street, passing boarded up shops and run down factories.

However, this pub truly is an oasis. Modern, clean, friendly and above all serving a wonderful collection of beers.

It leaves me wondering how many more little gems are awaiting my discovery in this city.
