The basic listings on 2ndCity are all well and good, but they don't really offer you much in the way of advertising.
We are aware that our data may become out of date as time goes by and your facilities change. It is also possible that you might not be listed in our directory yet.
Enhanced Listings
To solve this problem we have created a way for you as a manager or licensee to enhance your listing and offer a wealth of information to potential customers that's not possible with the basic listing. All this is updatable by you, from your own secure login area.
Keep customers informed
Once registered you will be able to add and edit your listing description via your login control panel. All alterations will appear instantly and can be updated as many times as you like.
You can use this feature to give a detailed description of your business, mention any special offers, anything you want!
Online photo gallery
The control panel also gives you the opportunity to add a photo gallery to your listing. You can upload and display 5 photos in your gallery. Although there is a limit to the number of images in the gallery, there is no limit to the amount of times you can change your gallery images.
Add extra info pages
As well as your directory page our enhanced listings give you the option of adding 2 additional pages. These pages can contain any information you like. Why not add your restaurant menu, an events page, maybe a direct contact form or even a flash game, the possibilities are endless.
Link to your website
If you have your own website you can link to it in your listing allowing our users to visit it directly and see everything you have to offer.
Having your link on our website is also a great way to improve your search engine ranking.

Additional Services
Our enhanced listings are an excellent way to advertise more information about your business, however they don't help people find your listing in our directory.
For this reason we offer two ways to make your listing more prominent on 2ndCity.
Featured Listings
Our featured listings give you all the options available in the enhanced listing plus the following features to get your listing noticed.
Front page display
Have your business displayed on the front page, complete with picture and contact details.
We randomly select one of our featured listings and display it on our front page. Every time a user views the 2ndCity front page a new listing is displayed. With thousands of page loads every week this means your business will get plenty of valuable exposure.
Prominent search results
Have your business displayed at the ahead of basic search results.
We randomly select 5 featured listings and display them at the top of our search results ahead of the other listings. Although the 5 featured listings are selected randomly each time the results are displayed,
only the featured listings relevant to specific search criteria will be available for selection, meaning more relevant search results and a more likely chance of a user viewing your listing.
Sponsored Listings
Our sponsored listing is the sure-fire way to get maximum exposure for your listing. You get all the features of the enhanced and featured listings plus the following features:
Top of search results
Have your business displayed at the top of search results.
Your directory listing will be displayed at the very top of all relevant search results. Every time your listing matches the search criteria entered by a user, your listing is guaranteed to be at the top of the results - ahead of all featured and other listings.
Unlike the other search results, our sponsored listing will have an image and website link (if available) displayed with it.
Main page display
All our sponsored listings get displayed on the main page of their specific category (eating, drinking and sleeping).
This makes it a lot easier for our users to find your directory listing.
Limited sponsored listings
We limit the amount of sponsored listings to 4 per category, per year. This ensures that our sponsored listings get the exposure they deserve without overcrowding the directory.

Fees
Access to this enhanced service is available from just £75 per year, payable in advance. There is no contract to sign and no obligation to renew your account each year. However, if your account expires you will not be able to update your listing.
Below are the annual fee for each listing.
Enhanced Listing - £75
Featured Listing - £125
Sponsored Listing - £200
To register simply navigate to your listing in our directory and click the "Are you the manager/licensee of (your business)" near the top of the page. Then simply complete the online form and you're finished.
You will then be able to login to the manager area and update your listing. Your select features will automatically be applied to your listing.
After submitting your registration we will invoice you for your membership within a week.
